Teesside Industrial Services (TIS Ltd) is excited to announce our involvement in the restoration project of the historic Herd Groyne Lighthouse. As a company dedicated to supporting the local community and infrastructure, we are proud to play a role in preserving this important landmark.
The Port of Tyne recently received a generous £100,000 donation from the Barbour Foundation to help fund the restoration of the nearly 150-year-old lighthouse. This vital contribution will enable essential repairs and maintenance to ensure the lighthouse continues to guide ships safely navigating the River Tyne for years to come.
The Herd Groyne Lighthouse stands as a testament to the rich maritime history of the region. Teesside Industrial recognizes the significance of this lighthouse and is committed to supporting its restoration. We are confident that the project will be completed successfully within the expected four-month timeframe.
